Salvation Eternal Everlasting Destination Ministries'
Tenets of Faith are:

The phraseology used in this statement is not inspired, complete or intended to be, but is stated to be the principle guidelines for S.E.E.D. Ministries, Inc., in order to discern and distinguish the ministries that are requesting a need.

  1. Scriptures Inspired: The Bible is the inspried Word of God to man, the only infallible rule of faith and conduct given to man. I Thessalonians 2:13, II Timothy 3:15-16, Hebrews 4:12, I Peter 1:23-25, II Peter 1:21
  2. One True God - God Head - Trinity: The One True God has revealed Himself as the eternal self-existent, self-revealed "I Am" in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit. Deuteronomy 6:4, Isaiah 43: 10-11, Matthew 28:19, Luke 3:22, I Corinthians 13:14
  3. Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ: The name "Emmanuel" embraces both God and man in the one person, our Lord Jesus Christ. Son of God describes His proper deity, and the title Son of Man, His proper humanity. The proper name, Lord Jesus Christ, is never applied in the New Testament to God the Father or to the Holy Ghost. Since God the Father has delivered all judgement unto His son, Jesus Christ, whose body resurrected from the dead, it is the expressed duty of all heaven and earth to bow the knee. Matthew 1:21, 28:6, I John 4:14, Romans 1:1-4, 7, 14:11, I Corinthians 15:4, 24 - 28, Herews 1:3, I Peter 3:22, II John 3
  4. Fall of Man: Man was created good and upright, for God said, "Let US make in Our own image, after our Likeness." Man fell by his own will and his only hope is in Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Genesis 1:26, 3:7, Romans 10:13, Ephesians 2:8
  5. The Salvation of Man: Man's only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, through repentance toward God and faith toward Jesus Christ by the washing, regeneration and the renewing of the Holy Ghost. Being justified by grace through faith, man became an heir of God according to the hope of eternal life. Luke 24:47, John 3:3, Romans 10:13, Ephesians 2:8
  6. Baptism in the Holy Ghost: The Baptism of the Holy Ghost is freely given to all believers who seek and ask God the Father. This is the normal experience of all in the early church. With it comes the enduement of power for life and service. This experience is distinct from and subsequent to the experience of the new birth. Luke 24:29, Acts 1:4, 8:12-17, 10:44-46
  7. The Ordinance of the Church: Water Baptism and Communion are not rituals or sacramental. There is no special merit attached to them.
Water Baptism Symbolizing the beginning of spiritual life and a public declaration of identification with Jesus Christ's death and resurrection. Matthew 28:19, Acts 10:47-48, Romans 6:4
The Lord's Supper is the commemoration (Luke 22:19) of the atoning death of Jesus Christ. It is instructive (I Corinthians 11:23-26) in symbolizing the Bread and Wine as an object lesson of Christ, the consuming of the physical elements as the atonement and inspirational (I Thessalonians 5:22) because we enter into the benefits of His death and resurrection by faith with thanksgiving. (I Corinthians 11:24-26)
  8. Sanctification: Sanctification is the act of separation from that which is sin and a dedication unto God. For without it no man can see God. Sanctification is realized in the believer by recognizing his identification with Christ in His death and resurrection, and by faith. Romans 6:1-11, 12:1-2, Galations 2:20, I Thessalonians 5:23, Hebrews 12:14, 13:12
  9. The Church and its Mission: The Great Commission is a command given to the church by our Lord Jesus Christ to go out, seek and save the lost. (this is the call and reason of S.E.E.D. Ministries) Matthew 28:18-20
  10. The Command to Pray in Faith: Prayer is essential to a believer's life, and it is only through prayer and faith that a difference is made in one's life and ministry. Matthew 6:6-13, Ephesians 1:16, Philippians 4:6-7, I Thessalonians 5:17, I Timothy 2:1, James 4:2-3
